C David Snyder
Chairman, President and CEO
In addition to chairing the Board of Directors, Dave is responsible for the strategic direction and management of the company. He is the primary decision maker for Attevo, setting the tone for the company's values and culture. His commitment to understanding clients and delivering the highest quality service is fundamental to the exponential growth and success the company has seen since its inception in late 2004.
Dave has extensive corporate and entrepreneurial leadership experience. Prior to forming Attevo, he founded and served as Chairman, President and CEO of Realogic Inc, 350+ employee technology consulting and systems integration firm which he founded in Cleveland, Ohio, in 1993. Internationally-known, the firm ranked in "Inc" magazine's 1997 and 1998 list of the 500 fastest-growing companies. Realogic was acquired by Computer Associates International (now CA) in 1998.
Before Realogic, Dave held similar positions at other large corporations including Integral Systems (President of Midrange Division), Management Reports Inc (President and CEO), Grant Thornton (Partner-In-Charge Cleveland Consulting Division) and Coopers & Lybrand (Director of Information Systems).
Dave began his professional career with Arthur Andersen & Co (now Accenture). He was also the majority owner of Snyder International Brewing Group, which owns Cleveland's Crooked River Brewing Co, Maryland's Frederick Brewing Company and Cincinnati's Hudepohl-Schoenling Brewery.
Dave is a Cum Laude graduate of Ohio University's College of Business. He is a member of the College of Business Executive Advisory Board and a former member of the University's Board of Trustees. Dave also serves on several corporate boards and works with various non-profit organizations.
Brad Brown
President — Attevo Federal
As President of Attevo Federal, Bradford Brown directs the firm’s Washington, DC operations serving the US government.
Prior to Attevo, Brad was the President and CEO of OhioOnline, Inc (OOI), a corporate Internet Service Provider and applications development company. Brad started OOI in 1994, when the Internet was in its commercial infancy. OOI used its strategic location in Cleveland, OH to help many notable Ohio brands establish a foothold in the digital world, including The Cleveland Clinic's initial intranet and The Ohio State University's foray into distance learning. During his time at OOI, Brad built a highspeed corporate services network that has been in consistent operation since 1995. In addition, the firm was among the pioneers in building a computer security practice around Internet Protocols. In May 2009, OOI was acquired by Attevo.
A former journalist, Brad Brown wrote for The Washington Post and worked on air as the lead reporter for an NBC investigative reporting team.
Brad has a Bachelor of Science from The University of Tennessee and attended the American University Graduate School of Communications. He has served on the Oracle Reseller Advisory Panel and was recognized for his work in furthering educational technology by the former President of Silicon Graphics.
Joseph Burmester
Partner and CFO
Joe is responsible for both the financial and internal operations and activities of Attevo. He has been a Vice President with Acero, Arsenal Digital Solutions and Computer Associates and a cofounder of fileFrenzy, an online content management company.
As a Vice President with Realogic, Joe was responsible for the development of the Workgroup Computing consulting practice and ran the Southern region of the firm. He also served as Vice President for Integral Systems, was Partner-In-Charge of the Technology consulting practice for KPMG in the St. Louis region and was Senior Vice President of Operations for Capitol American Life Insurance Company.
Joe began his technology career with Arthur Andersen & Co. (now Accenture) after serving three years as a full-time statistics instructor on the faculty of Bowling Green State University in Ohio.
Joe holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from Bowling Green State University and an MBA with an emphasis in Finance and Statistics from Bowling Green State University and is also a Certified Public Accountant and Certified Systems Professional. Joe is active in several community and charitable organizations.
John Frankovich
Partner and COO
John is responsible for the delivery of consulting services in North America. He has extensive experience in operational and IT Strategy consulting and has served clients in several industries including retail, high tech, entertainment, consumer products and transportation. Particular areas of his expertise include technology strategy, supply chain, and product portfolio management.
Prior to joining Attevo, John was a co-founder of GTM Consulting where he was responsible for developing the direction of the firm, leading the firm's information technology operations and strategy practice, and working with several significant international clients. Under his leadership, the firm developed intellectual property that has been incorporated into service offerings for several Attevo clients.
Before co-founding GTM Consulting, John held senior management positions with PriceWaterhouseCoopers (PwC) and A.T. Kearney (ATK). At PwC, John was the Global and Americas Lead IT Strategy Partner, responsible for developing the IT strategy approaches, services and methods for use in PwC’s global organization. He led efforts to determine unique market needs and introduced new services to the various regions in their global organization. As a vice president at ATK, he developed and integrated information technology strategy services with other ATK practices, including methodologies and practice aids used in the global organization.
John has also served as CEO in a supply chain consulting firm and in various leadership and Board positions with other entrepreneurial enterprises.
John holds a Bachelor of Business in Quantitative Methods from Ohio University.
Gary Dowdy
Partner
Gary is responsible for helping clients make effective use of the Internet as a marketing, communications, collaboration and commerce channel. In addition, he is responsible for delivery of health care and green/sustainability consulting services worldwide.
Prior to his current role, Mr. Dowdy was Vice President of e-Business/New Media at Cardinal Health, a Fortune 20 company, where he had responsibility for the company’s global public and private Web sites and other electronic channels. During his ten-year career at Cardinal Health, Gary held various e-commerce, technology, communications and marketing positions at the VP level.
Gary has a strong entrepreneurial track record. From 1988 to 1997, he was co-founder and president of two technology companies specializing in the automation of distribution centers and creation of software development products. In 1993, he received the Young Entrepreneur of the Year award, presented by the United States Small Business Administration.
Gary holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science Engineering from the University of Arkansas and a Master of Business Administration from the Krannert School of Management at Purdue University. He serves on the board of the Alzheimer’s Association of Central Ohio and the Columbus Speech and Hearing Center. Gary also teaches an MBA class on Internet Marketing at Ohio State University.
David George
Director
David is a leader in Attevo’s Enterprise Information Management practice, which focuses on solutions that help clients define, manage and govern information as a vital organizational asset. Within this practice, he is responsible for associates and clients nationally.
Prior to Attevo, David worked as a Managing Director at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) where he was instrumental in launching CRM, Telecommunications and Oil & Gas practices. After his sixteen-year career at PwC, he became the Founder & Principal at Integrated Decision Resources. There he offered IT strategy, acquisition due diligence and IT/Systems Implementation services for private equity firms.
David has a strong senior-level IT background from his experiences as Partner at Arthur Anderson, Regional Vice President at Oracle Corporation and Senior Executive at Accenture. He has twenty-four years of experience working with Fortune 500 companies and emerging companies in Oil & Gas, Telecommunications, High Technology, Financial Services, Hospitality and Aerospace & Defense Industries. David has worked with such companies as Verisign, Dell, Starwood, Northrop Grumman, AT&T, Verizon (MCI/UUNet), NTT Verio, BP (Amoco) and Shell Oil.
David holds a B.B.A. in Computer Information Systems, Texas State University, where he graduated Cum Laude.
Kindra Helm
Director
Kindra is responsible for business and associate development, project management and quality assurance for projects primarily in the public sector. She has been responsible for several successful large-scale Attevo projects within this sector, many of which include integration of the Accela Automation software platform.
Prior to joining Attevo, Kindra was a consultant with Callidus Software, an Enterprise Information Management consulting firm, leading large-scale incentive compensation implementations and managing every aspect of the projects from design and development to testing and implementation.
Before Callidus, Kindra was with Realogic, which had just been acquired by Computer Associates (now CA). Having joined as a recent graduate, Kindra worked in numerous areas, including application development, report and database development, business process re-engineering and project management.
Kindra is a 1996 cum laude graduate of Ohio University's College of Business in Marketing, with concentrations in Finance and MIS. Kindra is currently involved with Ohio University as a member of their MIS Advisory Board and is also an MBA student mentor.
Randy Johnson
Partner
Randy Johnson leads Attevo’s Information Technology (IT) Management practice. Randy has significant experience in developing and executing IT strategy, infrastructure repositioning, application portfolio analysis, IT reorganization, data center migrations, consolidations and aligning the IT organization with business objectives.
Before joining Attevo, Randy was a partner for Coopers & Lybrand and PricewaterhouseCoopers and later held executive positions at IBM - responsible for both technology and business process practices. Throughout his career, he has completed projects for various Fortune 10, 50 and 100 firms in the retail, international oil & gas, and consumer products sectors. Randy has also recently worked on projects with a major US pharmaceutical company, a semiconductor equipment manufacturer, a nation-wide building supply company, a major fast food company and major communications companies.
During his many assignments, Randy has led Merger & Acquisition IT engagements and conducted due diligence, which has resulted in streamlining enterprise-wide application portfolios and operations infrastructures, in addition to restructuring IT organization within companies.
Randy holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Purdue University.
Rex Plouck
Director
Rex is responsible for helping healthcare providers and other stakeholders implement health information networks to improve patient care and reduce operating costs. In addition, he leads an initiative to provide industry leaders a US-based alternative for IT outsourcing.
Prior to Attevo, Rex held several executive level positions for the State of Ohio including Enterprise Health IT Officer, Deputy State CIO, and Board Chairman for the Ohio Health Information Partnership.
As the State's Enterprise Health IT Officer, he worked with public and private sector entities to develop and implement a strategic plan for a state-wide health information exchange supporting the adoption of electronic medical records. As part of the effort, Rex created a public private partnership, the Ohio Health Information Partnership, and helped raise over $50 million to fund the new entity.
As Deputy State CIO, he was responsible for managing the State's $800 million annual investment in information technology and running the enterprise project management and architecture teams.
Before joining the State of Ohio, Rex held a number of executive management positions in the financial services and software development industries. Rex was the President and COO of a start-up firm providing ecommerce solutions.
Rex holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematical Sciences from The Ohio State University.
John Schindler
Director
John is responsible for the delivery of infrastructure consulting services, which includes the support of Client Managed Service offerings. John has extensive experience in both operational and strategic IT planning and execution. He is also responsible for internal IT programs, infrastructure and special projects.
Prior to joining Attevo, John was the CIO for Kichler Lighting, where he was responsible for the building and re-structuring of their IT organization in support of Kichler’s first integrated ERP and E-Commerce platform. While at Kichler, John received Computerworld’s Best in Class, Premier 100 CIO award as well as CIO of the year for Northeast Ohio. Throughout his career, John has consulted in various industries from retail, heavy industry and wholesale distribution. These projects ranged from small privately-held companies to Fortune 100 firms. Assignments have ranged from IT Governance, Strategic Planning, Project Management, due diligence and execution of Enterprise PMOs.
John holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering with a minor in Business and Finance from Case Western Reserve University.
Brian Stein
Director
Brian is a leader within Attevo’s Customer Interaction practice. He manages teams of project managers and analysts across mobile banking implementations, and also drives web and social media strategy engagements. Brian is helping to develop professional service delivery competencies within multiple software and product companies.
Prior to his role at Attevo, Mr. Stein was Manager at Diamond Management and Technology Consultants, Inc. in Chicago, Illinois where he led multiple process improvement projects and designed and managed Program Management Offices for large scale ERP and application development programs. During his ten-year career at Diamond, Brian worked in many different areas including process optimization, program management, service delivery, organizational design, IT governance and IT management.
In addition to his career at Diamond, Brian developed strong leadership skills while working as a manager at MarchFIRST (formerly Whittman-Hart, Inc.) as well as working as a Management Consultant for CapGemini (formerly Ernst & Young LLP). He led development teams in creating Internet-based applications for multiple clients and served as technical lead for multiple development projects while supporting business processes redesign efforts.
Brian holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from Case Western Reserve University and an MBA from the Tepper School of Business at Carnegie Mellon University with concentrations in Strategy and Information Systems. Brian also has a MSPPM in Policy Analysis and Management at the H. John Heinz School of Public Policy and Management. Brian is on the board of directors of Gross Schechter Day School.
Rachel Pollock
Partner
Rachel is responsible for the global delivery of Enterprise Content Management consulting services within Attevo. She has extensive experience in the delivery of consulting solutions in a number of vertical sectors, including local and central government, legal, construction, pharmaceutical, retail and transport.
Prior to joining Attevo, Rachel was employed by Open Text (formerly Hummingbird) as Consulting Director for Northern Europe. Her responsibilities included managing a multinational team of consultants that delivered solutions to a wide portfolio of European clients. Rachel's role also required a significant amount of business development liaising with senior sales and management staff within Open Text. She was instrumental in winning a number of strategic deals and also promoting solution initiatives, enabling Open Text to focus on new areas of service revenue.
Before joining Open Text, Rachel was Vice President of Professional Services with Computer Associates (now CA), responsible for the consulting practice in EMEA. During this period, Computer Associates made significant gains in terms of service revenue. Rachel was also responsible for driving new quality practices and program management initiatives.
Prior to Computer Associates, Rachel was co-founder of a successful consulting firm, Knowledge Insight, which was later purchased by Realogic Inc.
Rachel holds a Bachelor of Science, with honors, in Psychology and a Master of Science in Intelligent Management Systems.
Matt Wienke
Partner
Since 2007, Matt has lead Attevo’s Enterprise Information Management practice, which focuses on solutions that help clients define, manage, and govern information as a vital organizational asset. Within this practice he is responsible for associates and clients nationally.
Matt joined Attevo in 2005 as a Regional Director, during which time he successfully built a team of IT and business solutions experts around a number of key accounts. Matt has over 16 years of experience in professional services and has extensive experience justifying, planning, designing, and implementing strategic large-scale information management solutions. His experience includes operational data integration, data warehousing, application development, and packaged software solution implementations.
He has spent the last 10 years immersed in the application of new business process models, technologies, and disciplines that improve visibility to vital information assets within complex environments to reduce costs, increase operational efficiency, manage risk, and improve profits.
Prior to joining Attevo, Matt was with Infinis, Incorporated as a Senior Manager in their Customer Intelligence and Corporate Performance Management practices. He was a member of Arthur Andersen Business Consulting in Columbus from 1995-1999.
Matt holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business from the Kelly School of Business at Indiana University at Bloomington. He has also been active on the board of the Central Ohio Chapter of the international non-profit Data Management Association since 2006. He’s an active public speaker and contributor to professional publications.
