Glenn E Corlett
Dean & Philip J Gardner Leadership Professor, Ohio Univ College of Business
Mr Corlett became Dean and Philip J Gardner Leadership Professor of the College of Business at Ohio University on July 1, 1997. As Dean, Mr Corlett is responsible for strategic and administrative governance of 2000 students and over 100 faculty and staff members. Upon acceptance of the Deanship, Mr Corlett was granted tenure in the School of Accountancy in the College of Business at Ohio University.
Mr Corlett was Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for NW Ayer & Partners, an international advertising agency headquartered in New York City, from 1993 to 1996, and Chief Financial Officer of the company from 1990 to 1995. As COO, he was responsible for all business operations of the agency and directly supervised the media planning and buying, print production, advanced technologies and event marketing subsidiaries. As CFO, he was responsible for all accounting and treasury functions of the company and its foreign and domestic subsidiaries.
Prior to joining Ayer, Mr Corlett had a long history with Price Waterhouse, where he was Partner-In-Charge for mergers and acquisitions in New York from 1988 to 1990; Tax Partner-In-Charge in Denver from 1984 to 1988 and in Cleveland from 1979 to 1984; and held Partner and staff positions from 1971 to 1979.
Mr Corlett earned a bachelor's degree in business administration at Ohio University in 1965 and a JD from Ohio State University in 1968. He completed the Advanced Management Program at Duke University in 1983. He was an accounting instructor at Jacksonville University from 1969 to 1970.
He serves on the boards of Pubco Corp, Inn-Ohio Inc, Copernicus Therapeutics Inc, Rocky Shoes & Boots Inc, the Palmer-Donavin Manufacturing Corporation and the Ohio University Technology Commercialization Advisory Board.

Jack T Diamond
Attorney at Law, Brennan, Manna & Diamond, LLC
Mr Diamond heads the Healthcare and Hospital Law practice at the well-respected law firm Brennan, Manna & Diamond and is a sought-after advisor and speaker on a multitude of healthcare topics. He is a frequent lecturer on health law throughout the USA and an author of numerous publications on the subject.
Mr Diamond assists healthcare practitioners (hospitals, hospital companies and physician groups) and providers with UM/QA matters including clinical practice guideline implementations and reimbursement appeals.
- For practitioners, he advises on topics such as Centers of Excellence, Physician Hospital Organizations (PHOs). Management Service Organizations (MSOs), Independent Practice Organizations (IPOs), capitation/disease management, reimbursement appeals, regulatory compliance, Health Maintenance Organizations (HMOs), Medicare/Medicaid issues, credentialing/bylaws and physician representation in situations of integration and transition.
- For healthcare providers, he advises on protective measures such as OIG/PRO, sanction, antitrust, billing, fraud, licensing and anti-dumping/EMTALA activities including litigation, appeals and restraining orders.
Mr Diamond is a member of the Governing Committee of the Health Law Section at the American Bar Association, Health Law Committee at The Ohio State Bar Association, Medical Society Liaison at the Akron Bar Association, the Medical Committee of the NHLA/AAHA (National Health Lawyers Association/American Academy of Healthcare Attorneys), Professional Advisory Committee to the Law-Medicine Center at Case Western Reserve University and a founding member of the Society of Chest Pain Centers and Providers. He also currently serves on the boards of Cuyahoga Falls General Hospital, Medical Center of Southern Indiana, North American Indian Cultural Center and Senior Workers Action Program.
He received his JD, with honors, from Case Western Reserve University School of Law and holds an MBA from Cleveland State University and a BSBA magna cum laude from Xavier University.

Allen J Gula, Jr
Chairman, The Marilyn B. Gula Mountains of Hope Foundation
Al is an accomplished financial services professional, having accumulated over 30 years experience in the US and global financial services industry. He has held executive positions in e-commerce, payments, technology, operations, strategic business planning, and mergers and acquisitions integration.
Most recently Al is a senior executive at Greater Bay Bancorp, one of the Bay area’s largest independent bank holding companies, as well as a consultant and board member to several privately held companies where he assists with strategic development, operational scalability and financing.
Prior to Greater Bay Bancorp, Al was Co-President at Franklin Resources, a $650 billion+ global asset management company, Executive VP at KeyCorp, Chairman and CEO of Key Services Corporation, and a board member at KeyBank N.A., KeyBank USA, Electronic Payment Services, Inktomi and MasterCard USA.
Together with his late wife, Lynn, Al founded The Marilyn B. Gula Mountains of Hope Foundation (www.mountainsofhopefoundation.org), a non-profit Foundation dedicated to funding the diagnosis and treatment of advanced breast cancer research.
Al received an MBA in Management from Case-Western Reserve University.

Jim R Hackbarth
President & CEO, Assurex Global
In August 2003, Jim Hackbarth was appointed President and CEO of Assurex Global, the world's largest privately held risk management and commercial insurance brokerage group.
Mr Hackbarth has experience in all phases of management including business planning, acquisitions, joint ventures, revenue generation strategic alliances, product development, and international sales and marketing.
With a solid track record in technology, Mr Hackbarth previously served as CEO of Cornerstone, the high-tech consulting and executive recruiting firm he founded in 1996. Previously, Mr Hackbarth held executive positions with the international software company Information Dimensions, as well as Agency Management Services, Leader Systems, Policy Management Systems, Price Waterhouse, and IBM.
Mr Hackbarth received a BSBA and MBA from The Ohio State University and sits on various boards.

Wade I Massad
Managing Member, Cleveland Capital Management, LLC
Mr Massad is currently Managing Member of Cleveland Capital Management LLC. He has approximately 18 years experience in the securities industry, spending the majority of his career in various investment banking and equity capital markets positions.
Mr Massad was the Head of Equity Finance at KeyBanc Capital Markets from 2004 to 2005. From 1997 to 2003, he worked as Head of US Capital Markets and, prior to that, he was Head of US Institutional Sales for RBC Capital Markets, eventually serving as a member of the firm's executive committee.
Prior to joining RBC, he was a General Partner of Cleveland Capital Management, the partnership that he co-founded in 1996. From 1989 to 1996, Mr Massad spent eight years at McDonald Investments and Rauscher Pierce Refsnes, both in the equity syndicate and institutional sales departments.
Since 2001, Mr Massad has served as a member of the Securities Industry Association (SIA) Capital Markets Committee, which is the leading trade association of the securities industry representing broker-dealers, investment banks and mutual fund companies.
Mr Massad sits on the Advisory Board of Cleveland Pacific Equity Ventures and is a graduate of Baldwin-Wallace College, where he also serves as a Trustee.

Stephen A Nicol
Entrepreneur
Most recently, Mr Nicol was Vice President of Field Operations for Cendura Corporation, a Mountain View, California, software company specializing in configuration management and enterprise infrastructure management software. As the primary customer executive, Mr Nicol guided the organization through the deployment of Cendura's Cohesion product at several multi-national corporations. The resulting customer references and product credibility led to the recent acquisition of Cendura by CA, the New York based software firm.
Prior to his leadership at Cendura, Mr Nicol was Senior Vice President of Sales and Support at Accela Corporation, a provider of government enterprise management software solutions, where he was responsible for worldwide sales and support.
From 1993 to 2002, Mr Nicol was co-founder and Senior Vice President of Sales for Pumatech Inc, where he grew revenue from zero to $40 million. During his tenure, Mr Nicol managed Pumatech through a successful IPO, resulting in a market capitalization of $4 billion. Under his guidance, the company attracted 2,000 enterprise customers.
Prior to that, he was Director of Far East Sales for Systemsoft Corporation and OEM Sales Manager for Western Digital Corporation. Mr Nicol began his career as a sales representative for Hewlett Packard Corporation.
Mr Nicol is a graduate of Princeton University. In 2000, the Harvard Business School Alumni Association recognized Mr Nicol as the Entrepreneur Of The Year.

David C Wilhelm
Managing Partner, Hopewell Ventures
Mr Wilhelm is founder of The Management Company and a Member Of The General Partnership of Hopewell and Adena Ventures.
Previously, he was a Senior Managing Director of Kemper Securities. Mr Wilhelm's noteworthy activities in the political arena include managing the Clinton/Gore presidential campaign in 1992 and serving as Chair of the Democratic National Committee from 1993 to 1994, becoming the youngest person in American history to head a national party.
He also managed the successful campaigns of Senator Paul Simon in 1984, Mayor Richard Daley in 1989 and 1991, and was the Chair of Governor Rod Blagojevich’s campaign in 2002.
Mr Wilhelm is the recipient of a Bachelor of Arts degree and Honorary Doctorate from Ohio University, as well as a Master of Public Policy degree from Harvard University. He is currently a lecturer at the University of Chicago’s Harris School of Public Policy.
