A Regional Insurer needed a solution that would store extracted customer data from their legacy source systems, as well as feed customer information to the data warehouse and the Policy Administrative System (PAS). The solution needed to contain a single instance of a customer and also provide the relationships/links between a customer and their policies across all lines of business.
Client challenge
The Regional Insurer lacked a customer centric solution for enabling the consolidation of their customer, agent, and policy data from multiple disparate sources, as well as an efficient mechanism to federate their data to multiple downstream systems for consumption. Furthermore, they also needed a way to de-duplicate their customer data into a single golden copy, allowing them to achieve greater insight into their customer base and move from policy-centric to a more customer-centric operational environment.

Attevo solution
Attevo served in a Delivery Manager role acting as a trusted advisor to devise the overall project roadmap. We worked to identify and mitigate issues and risks, deploy best practices and methods, and define the approach for the Implementation Roadmap and Plan. The Roadmap focused on the Regional Insurer’s core values: Agent Driven, Customer Driven, and Growing Intelligently.
Attevo also served as Technical Architect, Product Specialist and guided the Regional Insurer through the entire application deployment and integration lifecycle with a specific focus on requirements, design and development. Additionally, Attevo guided the Regional Insurer through the suspect matching process and documented a Data Stewardship process flow which outlined a comprehensive process for the analysis and remediation of outstanding suspect records.

Results
Attevo was instrumental in assisting the Regional Insurer with the evaluation and prove-out of IBM’s MDM server. Attevo was able to work with the Regional Insurer to compile an Implementation Roadmap addressing both the tactical and strategic aspects of the program. Together, Attevo and the Regional Insurer are implementing MDM Server into production.
