Senior Consultant - Lead Data Architect
Location: Great Lakes Region or East coast

Lead Data Architect is responsible for the design and development of Master Data Management and Enterprise Information Management technical solutions. This role is responsible for translating client and functional requirements into long term, robust, and scaleable data model architecture. Lead Data Architect is also responsible for designing source data interfaces, articulating ETL requirements and modeling target databases. The position also requires experience leading project teams and working with multiple ETL products (Informatica, SSIS, DataStage) and Data Quality products.

Experience Level:

• 5 - 10 years experience in data management or data warehousing.

Job Responsibilities:

• Deep database skills (Oracle, SQLServer)
• Experience with data modeling tools (Erwin, Oracle)
• Extensive knowledge of data modeling concepts
• Experience with ETL tools (Informatica, IBM-Ascential)
• Experience with DQ tools (Trillium, IBM-Ascential, Business Objects DQXI, Informatica DQ)
• Provide leadership related to technical aspects of systems development and data management.
• Strong problem solving skills

Qualified applicants will have:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Management Information Systems, etc. or equivalent IS experience.
• Five (5) or more years of extensive system knowledge in both UNIX OS and open systems environments.
• Understanding of hardware configuration, installation, and maintenance.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
