Sr. Solution Engineer - Customer Interaction Practice
Location: Cleveland, OH, Marin County, CA, Dallas, TX

Attevo is looking for a key-player capable of enabling a world-wide game change in customer interaction, initially deployed to the Financial Industry. The Senior Solution Engineer is responsible for design and development of client technology solutions for mobile Web, Web, SMS and other delivery channels.

Job responsibilities include:

• Timely delivery of customer solutions that meet and surpass customer expectations
• Integration, of the ClairMail server with our customers’ backend applications. This will typically involve the development of Java mid-tier logic and web services
• Performing acceptance tests with our customers to demonstrate the functionality and performance of the solution delivered
• Transfer knowledge to other team members and our customers

Skills: The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

• Extensive knowledge of established and emerging software including:
• Service Oriented Architectures – Web services, SOAP, REST
• XML technologies – XSLT, DOM, SAX, JAXB
• Java / J2EE and Web technologies – HTML, JavaScript, Apache, Tomcat, Servlets, JSP
• Spring framework
• Expertise in designing and implementing Enterprise Application Interfaces with leading middleware technology such as MQ Series, Vitria, Fusion, etc
• Analyze, define and document technical specifications, system architecture, target performance metrics and test plans
• Interface with client (developers) on coding standards, best practices, explanation of technical aspects, acceptance tests and coach/training on use
• Support, maintain and document software functionality
• 5+ years in Object Oriented programming with 3+ years in J2EE. Experience in the financial industry a plus

Bachelors degree required
